Sharp AJ-1800/2000 printers
1. Place a small strip of the aluminum tape provided over the ink outlet hole located on the bottom of the cartridge. Make sure the cartridge is dry and free of any ink residue before you do this to insure you get a good seal. If you do not do this ink will leak out of the cartridge.
2. Using the eyelet screw provided make a small hole in the side of the cartridge at the location indicated in the above illustration. You may have to peel part of the label off the cartridge to see the ink tank completely. IMPORTANT DO NOT REMOVE THE LABEL OF THE BLACK AND WHITE STRIPE ON THE END OF THE CARTRIDGE. THIS IS NEEDED SO THE PRINTER WILL RECOGNIZE THE CARTRIDGE AFTER YOU HAVE REFILLED IT.
3. Slowly inject up to 6ml. of color ink, and up to 10ml. of black ink into the filling hole until the chamber is almost full. Unused ink may be returned to the bottle.
4. Seal the filling hole with the aluminum tape provided, ensuring that the tape has sealed the hole completely.
5. Clean the syringe with water and dry for future use, or use with a different color ink.
6. Replace the cartridge and run a cleaning/priming cycle as per printer instructions.
