HP 2000 SERIES  

1.  Cut the label at joint between end cap and bottom of the cartridge case.

2.  Remove the end cap from the cartridge.

3.  Using the pin supplied pry out the small rubber sealing plug.

4.  Inject the ink through the filling hole into the foil bag. Before injecting the ink, make sure the foil bag inside the cartridge not has collapsed. If it has the bag needs to be opened.  Do this by using a small straw to blow air into the bag.  If the bag is not opened al the way it can not be filled completely.

5.  Fill the bag with ink until ink appears at the bottom of the filling hole and then reseal the hole by reinserting the rubber plug.   Do not push to hard or you may push the plug into the bag.  

6. Remove the excess air from the mylar ink bag and pump by doing the following:

A. Hold assembly at a 45° angle with outlet hole tube at the top.  

B. Insert needle of empty injector (with plunger pushed in) into outlet hole tube.

C. Press and release pump several times which will expel air into the syringe.  

D. Pull back the plunger on the syringe to remove any air from the outlet hole tube and then withdraw  the needle.

7.   Replace the end cap and tape it back together using scotch or masking tape.  Put the tape only were the label originally was.

8.  Reinstall the cartridge back into printer.
