HP 51645A/G, HP 51640/A, HP C6615AN

Supplies you should have before you begin:  Paper towel, latex gloves because ink can and does make a mess plan for this before you begin filling cartridges.  You may want to fill them initially in a sink as you gain experience using the Snap & Fill.

A.

1. Place your 45G/A cartridge in the Snap N Fill as shown in the above photo.

2.  Using the Plastic Ink Tip provided attach the tip to the syringe, insert the syringe tip into your bottle of ink drawing out 35cc of ink.

3.  Remove the Ink Tip from the syringe and screw  the Snap N Fill  to the syringe.

4. Gently press the plunger of the syringe to begin filling the cartridge. After all the ink has been dispensed into cartridge,   after filling the cartridge you will need to remove some of the excess air from the cartridge and create the vacuum needed for the cartridge to work properly.  Do this by pulling  back on the syringe plunger approximately 1/2 inch .  When you have finished this remove the cartridge from the Snap N Fill.  Wipe all visible ink from cartridge printhead with a lint free cloth.  A kleenex works well.

5. Insert the cartridge back into the printer and run a cleaning cycle per your printer instructions.

If you are unable to fill the cartridge due to excessive pressure in the cartridge the pressure will need to be released.

Turn the cartridge upside down. Remove the small round black cover and push in the ball bearing which is used to seal the filling hole.  After the ball has been pushed into the cartridge, reseal the hole with the set screw provided.  Screw the set screw in to the cartridge until it is flush with the cartridge.  The follow the filling instructions located above.
