Color Cartridge:
1. The fill holes for the cartridge are located under the cartridge cap. Remove the top before refilling by carefully prying it off with pocket knife.
2. Insert the needle into the hole of the color to be refilled, (with the cartridge label facing you the colors from left to right are: Cyan (blue), Yellow, Magenta (red)) and push the needle into the center of the cartridge.
3. While watching the print heads slowly inject up to 8 ml. of the correct color ink into the cartridge. At the first sign of ink coming out of the print head stop filling that color and draw back on the syringe plunger approximately 1/8 inch. This will help you to avoid overfilling and cross contaminating the inks at the print head. Clean the syringe with warm water, before refilling with another color.
4. After refilling the cartridge top may be put back on using scotch tape.
1. Enlarge the vent hole on the top of the cartridge using the large eyelet screw provided.(do not remove the cartridge top )
2. Fill the syringe with 12-25ml of black ink, insert the needle into the vent hole and push downwards into the center of the cartridge. Slowly inject up to 25ml. of ink until the reservoir is full.
